Please join me today in praying for our President. Father I lift up our new President in prayer. Give President Trump health of body and mind. Make him strong to bear the burdens of this high office. Strengthen him spiritually so he represents truth, righteousness, integrity, and character. Give President Trump a heart after You so he will protect the lives of the unborn. I also ask that his heart is resolute in his support of Israel so he may lead America in our support of Israel. I ask that President Trump would lead this nation with an understanding of the fear of the Lord and his accountability to You. May the decisions he makes as our country’s leader reflect the fear of God in his life. Give him godly wisdom and understanding from above, that under his leadership our nation may be directed in the ways of righteousness and peace. I also ask that You would keep us mindful of our obligation to support our leaders with fervent prayer for we are commanded to pray for those in authority. Cause each of our leaders from the local level to the national level to lead in Your fear and according to Your will, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty and that our nation and its people may prosper both spiritually and temporally. I do thank You for the countless undeserved blessings that you have showered on our country. God you have blessed America but I ask today that America would, in return, bless You! Individually and as a nation, we have sinned and we have forsaken You and I ask that You will mercifully forgive us and cleanse us from our sin. Hold Your protecting hand over our nation. Preserve our priceless religious freedom and liberty. Turn the hearts of multitudes to You and Your Son Jesus. Give us faith instead of unbelief, love instead of hate, peace instead of war, and righteousness instead of sin. Your Word says in Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.” God turn our hearts back to You, we pray in Jesus name.
